The Consultation

This is the ideal time for patients to ask any questions about the procedure and address any concerns they might have. During the consultation, we also need to know if the patient has had any surgical work done to their face prior to beginning this procedure. The Surgery
The patient will not need to stay overnight for this procedure and will be under anesthesia during this procedure. This way, the patient will not feel any pain during the procedure. During this procedure, we will cut along the eyelid and remove excess skin, muscle and fat. If we are treating the lower eyelid, we may need to redistribute some of the fat, muscle or sagging skin around.
Regardless of the technique we use, we will ensure the patient’s safety during this procedure. The surgery can take up to around two hours. The patient will need to take the day off from work or other responsibilities.
Follow-up Care
